Where do you go in Berlin? The Berlinale?david hare wrote: trips to Ritrovato, or Berlin or Paris are for pure pleasure.
Just to barge in on your conversation briefly, I am booked in for every day of the Gremfest here in Edinburgh starting tomorrow including the 'Symposium' of experts. If anything special pops up i'll give a nod. Particularly looking forward to the restored Gardiens.david hare wrote: If you check the director's index and Grem you'll see I've done a lot of work on him..
Ah, of course. I remember reading about those commentaries earlier in one of Schreck’s posts. I shall certainly download some of them and have listen.david hare wrote: these commentaries were done again for personal pleasure and are not available commercially. (Nobody would be mad enough to pay us!) I can point you in various direction in any case.
Yes, once you have got your badge you can easily watch everything. Is it generally open to public and easy to get seats once you buy accreditation?
Then you may also consider attending Pesaro Film Festival, right on the seaside.I might have to head over next year and then spend a week over on the coast in Le marche.
Yes the festival is open to the public. The cost of accreditation is 80 euro, while students pay 35. This gives access to all screenings in the four regular venues. It also gives access to special reserved seats for the outdoor night screenings in the piazza.TMDaines wrote:God, the Cinema Ritrovato festival always looks so awesome.
