I thought this felt fairly over the top for a film about such an awful person. I'm just a little surprised at the way it's put together because it feels like something I'd expect in a film where action took center stage. Maybe it's just me!

Reminds me of the I, Tonya trailer

Really hoping this isn't the exact type of movie that The House That Jack Built taught us we didn't need. Not optimistic based on the trailer

That's a pretty great point, Never Cursed. I'm not sure what kind of filmmaking heft it would take to make a "serial killer as protagonist" film land for me at this point, but no offense to *checks notes* Book of Shadows: Blair Witch 2 director Joe Berlinger, I am doubtful that it is employed here

The moment this forum gives James Marsh credit for Man on Wire and Project Nim when they're talking about The Theory of Everything being soullessly cynical fluff, I'll get right on that.

A new trailer, much better than the last.

I still think this is terrific casting. There's always been this blandly charming, affable emptiness to Efron's public persona that seems perfectly suited for what I understand to've been Bundy's own superficial but empty charm.

Efron's past association with Disney also gives him an air of innocence that Bundy himself exuded. I've read some reviews criticizing the film for avoiding really showing Bundy's crimes in detail which I thought was odd. Surely the point was not to wallow in Bundy's vile actions but show what a contemptible person he was?
