Mark Isham's score is beautiful. It's up with Never Cry Wolf, Mrs. Soffel, and his collaborations with Alan Rudolph as his finest work.

And this film is also notable for Lena Olin's astonishing performance (up there with Linda Fiorentino's character in The Last Seduction, and it is interesting how these post-Basic Instinct films really took the ' highly sexualised, obviously deadly femme fatale figure' and really ran with it) being able to out-lunatic even Gary Oldman at the peak of his 'crazed hysteria' period!
