both you and TWBB's praise of Tih Minh has me very excited to reach the conclusion. been moving through Fantomas myself and plan to share writeups, but given how entertaining I find it, I'm excited for how good the latter entries are according to seemingly everyone!

Not surprisingly, low stock alert per the latest newsletter (website says 145 left right now).
I''d never seen one of the serials and obviously started with Fantomas at a pace of 1 per week with my 7 yo son and we're both loving it so far (and yes it looks amazing, also nice scores).

Eureka's own stock is gone. If you still want the LE from other retailers, best act fast.

Individual releases for each serial in March; each release seems to retain the corresponding on disc extras from the OG boxset but not the booklet.

Nice. So to confirm, Fantomas and Les Vampires should have better, newer restorations than what was used by Kino (albeit with some issues already discussed in this thread), but the other two films should match the French Gaumont Blu-ray releases, correct?

Yes. If anyone wants the Gaumont releases for a song, lemme know,

My copies of the individual sets have just arrived and there are no booklets included sadly.

they weren't advertised though, and MOC has sadly switched to booklets becoming LE exclusive (but at least are doing it the Indicator/Radiance way and not the BFI/Arrow one). I'm just glad they kept these in print and we didn't have another Mizoguchi situation on our hands. while I have the box, I want everyone else who missed out to at least have the options to have the excellent discs

Yes I know that booklets weren't in the description for these, just had hoped that something akin to what used to be the case in previous MoC titles would still be in the offing. As you say though, the most important thing is that these restorations are going to be available as individual titles so I'm very glad about that...I learned about the 9 disc set too late to be able to secure a copy of that, was kicking myself for missing it and so was relieved when I found out that MoC would be making them available as separate titles. I already have DVD copies of Fantomas (Artificial Eye plus the French 1999 Gaumont limited edition), Les Vampires (Artificial Eye) and Judex (Flicker Alley) but not Tih-Minh...have to mention though...I ordered these directly from Eureka and can't recommend then highly enough, they were despatched the day after I made my order and arrived a week before the release date.ryannichols7 wrote: ↑Mon Mar 10, 2025 9:15 amthey weren't advertised though, and MOC has sadly switched to booklets becoming LE exclusive (but at least are doing it the Indicator/Radiance way and not the BFI/Arrow one).
