Released in the UK: April 28th.

In a run-down small-town between Miami and the Everglades, Cozy (Lisa Bowman), a dissatisfied housewife, longs for an adventure. One night, at a nearby bar, she meets Lee Ray (Larry Fessenden), an equally disaffected handyman who’s never left home. As sparks fly between them, a gun accidentally goes off. Thinking they have committed murder, the pair decide to flee, but their naive natures and limited bank balances mean they don't get very far. Cleverly playing on procedural drama tropes, Kelly Reichardt’s remarkably assured debut feature showcases her keen eye for observing the unsaid in this story about the stories we tell ourselves to escape the banality of everyday life.

Excellent! I don't think this has been released in the UK on disc before, although it did have a couple of UK television screenings on Film4 which I think occurred more than a decade ago.

It was in the Soda Pictures set but in unrestored SD.

Happy to double-dip on this as this was the only one in the Soda set looking a bit worse for wear, glad it got picked up. That said, I had previously thought Second Run were releasing it as they were teasing a Reichardt title not long ago (figured it was this, as the later films started to get more familiar faces appearing in them, which isn't generally Second Run's bag). I suppose they might have Wendy & Lucy, which is my favourite of her films overall, or they just handed this over to Radiance for some reason (might have a lot on their plate)?

Maybe Second Run has her second film Ode (which runs nearly an hour)?

Ode will very likely never be seen outside of theaters, as it's an unlicensed adaptation of "Ode to Billie Joe".
