Fantastic! I see it's up on the MoC site, but with no information yet. Q3?

No interest in the film but the cover is indeed one of their finest.

Agreed (regarding the cover). It's terrific.

I'm very interested in seeing this film as well.

Even if 2012 has been pretty non-existant for stuff appearing for the very first time worldwide on DVD/Blu-ray, it's looking fantastic for Blu-ray debuts! I swear there's more stuff that's been announced so far in 2012, which I want, than there was in the whole of 2011.

I'm starting to doubt whether being cheap was the right decision on this particular title: Lifeboat images.

One of these days I'm going to fall into some money and go back and buy every one of the MoC steelbooks.

I can't be doing with the steelbooks because it destroys uniformity on my shelf, but these releases have made me reconsider my default position that steelbooks are pointless. LIFEBOAT and TOUCH OF EVIL, in particular, look beautiful.

So good. I know art is subjective but month after month these consistantly better Criterion's efforts by a country mile.

I am sure the steelbook design for Mabuse will be even better!

That Mabuse cover as a steelbook would look lovely. All the Pasolinis look really nice.

Not so taken with Cleopatra or Rumble Fish, but then I've never seen either film..

Looks like the artwork for Mabuse steelbook is not ready, it's not on amazon and MoC's website says "coming soon".

Nick's probably still busy finishing off the Condorman one.

It`s getting pretty boring, but: WOW, again...
Love the steelbook pics again, especially the Cleopatra one. And of course, I only bought Rumble Fish a while ago...

Cool art but the Mabuse one is a bit redundant.

Unwrap that bad boy... let's see the back cover of the steelbook. What does the interior look like? \:D/

Just received the 2 Wilder Steelbooks.

I was happy to see on The Lost Weekend that the glue points position had changed (because the current placement is silly since you have to unglue everything to open the steel and look the back of it, where keeping only 2 points at the top of the back is enough).

However, I had an awful problem with the glue on the front for Double Indemnity : it was so sticky and thick I had to cut it with scissors.
Fortunately, once I was able to remove the printed paper from it, it was quite easy to remove the totality of the glue, both from the steel and the printed paper. :D

I'm, however, disappointed by the inside of the Lost Weekend steel : it is so dark you almost can't see what the artwork is.
