Watched most of this recently. Stopped at "Stairway to Heaven", which is really where the film peaks. The soundtrack album, but not the film, was reissued on Blu-ray audio a few years ago. I guess when they started the process of making this DVD release they wanted to do a straight-up version with no fantasy sequences but for legal reasons were not allowed. Kind of a shame that never came to pass because you could probably have made an interesting concert film and perhaps a separate doc of all the backstage stuff too.
The 2003 release of other concert footage stands up way better, for showing the band as they were in their earliest stages, and the footage from Earl's Court in 75 and Knebworth 79 stand up better on their own too.
