Could it be Bad Lieutenant for the UK? Baseball is kinda prominent in the film.

It's gotta be Field of Dreams. Their inexplicable fascination with Kevin Costner, considering, how could they resist?

We’re all in denial that this is going to be Night Game with Roy Scheider

Re: Arrow Announcements, Speculation & Wild, Irresponsible Conjecture
this is easily the most likely response. I was gonna note that it's probably something that just features baseball as opposed to being a baseball movie - even Inglourious Basterds has of course a fairly central baseball bat. but Bad Lieutenant is for sure likely, and they've been doing a good bit of Ferrara lately..

I'm just hoping for Fred Schepisi's follow up to A Cry In The Dark and The Russia House, the Tom Selleck starring Mr. Baseball.

Dollars Trilogy is surely coming soon, after that tease for A Fistful of Dollars the other week.ryannichols7 wrote: ↑Fri Oct 25, 2024 1:36 amthis has to be the first month in awhile we had no leaks. watch the Dollars Trilogy or something else huge come our way
This month ticks off several known titles though (Inglourious Basterds, The Gift, The Cell, Incubus, Rampo Noir).
That leaves The Dollars Trilogy, Singapore Sling, The Frighteners, Invaders from Mars ('53), Darkness ('93)...am I missing anything?
Rumoured titles from a while back now include Tombs of the Blind Dead set, Altered States, Porky's. Speculated titles are mostly Warner Bros titles that Shout Factory released in the US already (JFK, In the Mouth of Madness, Femme Fatale, Natural Born Killers, Cobra, Someone's Watching Me, The Hand, M. Butterfly, Friday 13th box set, Critters set, etc.) which would obviously be UK exclusives.
There's also still a vague chance they could come out with The Last of the Mohicans, through their Morgan Creek licenses, despite Mr. Mann's reputation for intervening with some releases (to be honest this might just be coming from people frustrated that The Keep will never see the light of day). Arrow is the label that released definitive editions of Thief and Blackhat, so I still have some faith they could go all out and restore Mohicans, possibly even both cuts of it if they'd be allowed.
Also, I dunno how active their Morgan Creek dealings are but could be fun to do Pacific Heights (Schlesinger), Heist (Mamet), The Pledge (Penn), Chasers (Hopper), or Dominion: Prequel to the Exorcist (Schrader). I could certainly see them doing Bad Moon (Eric Red), Soldier (Paul W.S. Anderson) and Battlefield Earth (Roger Christian) given some of their recent choices. Actually a little surprised they never did an Ace Ventura set, but perhaps that was more the Arrow of old who would've considered that (we all know comedies don't make much money, unfortunately).
PS: Not sure if Edgar Wright's A Fistful of Fingers is still happening or not due to legal reasons (might have been wiser to just pursue a collection of Wright's films, seeing as they're mostly at Universal...the good ones are at least). Also I think Tenacious D in The Pick of Destiny was rumoured, but I'm assuming such a release would be cancelled now due to...the band splitting up, essentially.

Yes, confirmed to be coming from Arrow a while back. Forgot to mention that one, but it was passed through the BBFC recently too. What A Disgrace wrote: ↑Thu Oct 31, 2024 11:12 pmMy J-Horror box contained a postcard for Last Stop in Yuma Country.
Ah yes, thanks I completely forgot about that! Something to look out for of course, but I've found some of the recent VS releases to be a bit too expensive to import (was considering The Tenant, Southern Comfort, Goin' South, Freeway 1&2, Cloak & Dagger, Phase IV, Last Embrace, Thieves Like Us etc). Doubt they'll ever get a UK release though so might be the only option. Unless Imprint manage to get some of these of course.

A lot of those Morgan Creek titles are/were slated for television remakes (Nightbreed, Pacific Heights, etc.), so that might impact VS’ ability to license them

I wonder if they’ll be able to get any (hopefully all) of the old extras for the Dollars trilogy….

Something that was missed is that Mike Siegel confirmed that he was producing some new extras for a new Dollars trilogy 4K release back in July. One of those extras involves trailers straight from 35mm prints that had to be colortimed due to bad fading:

Maybe Blade II given they've already released some Del Toro and it's a WB/New Line title.
