They didn't have Breaking In for very long. A shame, it's a good movie - to be uncharitable, it's not one I'd single out as one of Bill Forsyth's or screenwriter John Sayles's best films, but it's still very good and everything I could hope for and more from a low-budget mainstream comedy written or directed as a commercial endeavor by two noteworthy auteurs. (And Burt Reynolds is excellent, probably one of his best performances.)

Kino have not released an UHD of “Miracle Mile”. The issue with the remastered BD is that they decided to give it a mono track instead of the film’s native stereo. “Runaway Train” is also, natively, a Dolby Stereo presented film.

Perhaps no figure exerted a greater influence on 1970s television horror than Dan Curtis. Having created the daytime drama Dark Shadows (1966-71), and while producing popular primetime TV movies (The Night Stalker, The Norliss Tapes), his company produced stand-alone thrillers for ABC Television’s Wide World Mystery. Originally shot on videotape, the four productions in this collection have been carefully adapted to HD for this Blu-ray release. Shadow of Fear stars Claude Akins (B.J. and the Bear) as a disgraced police officer hired to investigate crimes surrounding a psychologically troubled housewife (Anjanette Comer, The Baby). In The Invasion of Carol Enders, the spirit of a car crash victim is reincarnated into the body of another patient (Meredith Baxter, Family Ties). Come Die with Me follows the cat-and-mouse relationship between a cavalier playboy (George Maharis, Route 66) and the housekeeper who tries to blackmail him (Eileen Brennan, Private Benjamin). A wholesome family experiences a Kafkaesque miscarriage of justice when they are accused of drug trafficking in Nightmare at 43 Hillcrest.

The Director of Acquisitions works with the VP, Acquisitions and Chief Distribution and Revenue Officer in identifying, evaluating, and securing new and library titles for distribution across Kino Lorber's platforms, including Theatrical, Digital, and Home Entertainment. This role builds and maintains strong industry relationships with filmmakers, producers, and sales agents, and serves as a key strategic contributor in shaping the company's slate through active participation in major film markets and festivals. What You Will Do

Acquisition Strategy & Content Evaluation
In conjunction with the senior members of the Acquisitions team, identify, evaluate, negotiate and acquire new release and library titles across global markets.
Analyze and track library renewal data and coordinate, with various teams (or different divisions), on the renewals.
Source content and evaluate content within the framework of the acquisitions strategy as defined by the Acquisitions team by screening, reading scripts, writing coverage, checking for film avails and assessing market potential.
Track production pipelines, monitor festival lineups, and evaluate pitches from sales agents and producers.
Maintain current knowledge of content trends, emerging filmmakers, and competitive activity.

Deal Negotiation & Rights Management
Negotiate distribution agreements and renewals with rights holders, including producers, sales agents, and international distributors.
Coordinate closely with legal and finance teams to finalize contract terms and manage rights tracking.
Maintain and update internal acquisition databases, rights templates, and contract status reports.

apparently he's the senior VP of acquisitions, so yes I'm guessing this role is either doing all branches or more specifically just the Kino Classics. even though Kino is wildly questionable at times in many regards, I do enjoy Frank Tarzi and those podcasts a lot
