wait... so why is battle-dancing illegal (at least in the world of the Boogie Town)? it hardly looks dangerous from that trailer.

It's presumably set in the world of Michael Jackson's "Beat It" video is the best answer I can come up with.

Looks like somebody trying to make a musical out of The Matrix (and failing miserably).

Not quite the same, but I loved Don Pardo's cameo on the last 30 Rock.

That is some kind of awful. I wonder if the producers were tempted to call it Dance with the Devil?

Whew. I hesitate to admit that I am rather excited for this.
I just bought this impulsively, on spec, not knowing anything about it, in the French (Seville) edition, at......wait for it......Walmart! --The same place that I picked up Ichi The Killer, in the bloodbag edition. (The "family" store that doesn't allow "naughty" cds to be sold.)

Anyway, I hope I did a good thing.

Edit: Well, damn! Seville is a Canadian company.

With the Halo adaptation falling through some time ago, Neill Blomkamp moves on from commercials and short films to District 9.
