Even the cartoon clue makes me not want to see this movie.
In more interesting (for me) news I'm hoping that the new poster for M. Hulot's Holiday means the new restoration will be making it's way on blu soon (along with Mon Oncle and anything else of Tati's that they might have).

Well, at least this means the IFC deal is enduring, so perhaps we will also get Police, Adjective in addition to the Lars von Trier funhouse.

I immediately figured it had to be Gone to Earth. Some things are just too hard to explain.

Let's hope! 12:08 East of Bucharest could also use a release, as the Tartan recently went OOP.Tom Hagen wrote:Well, at least this means the IFC deal is enduring, so perhaps we will also get Police, Adjective in addition to the Lars von Trier funhouse.

Sam Beam's list is outstanding.
I hope they do something similiar to the DVD digipack for the Blu. Breathless is one of my all-time favorite Criterion packages; it looks great and the booklet is MOC-good.swo17 wrote:Breathless on Blu! (Turning 50, out of breath.)

I thought they weren't going to touch this. Isn't this a Studio Canal title that can be taken away?

Re: Criterion Newsletter (Part 2)
Criterion's license is probably from Rialto, like "Last Year At Marienbad," or mk2. I'd have to check the back of the case later.aox wrote:I thought they weren't going to touch this. Isn't this a Studio Canal title that can be taken away?
