I'm only coming up with Rough (K)Night in Jericho, but that doesn't seem likely.

I'm probably guessing this only because I want it to be true (my logic is probably a bit of a stretch, but what the hell)... But, is there any chance this clue is for Ken Russell's The Devils? I'm thinking of the ending of the film, specifically where
Spoiler
the city walls, freshly made out of stone, are taken down, as Grandier is burned alive.
Though while there are knights seen in the film (I believe we do see them standing guard at the film's climax), this still wouldn't precisely explain the prominence of the one, holding some sort of calling device, featured in the newsletter clue.

that's all I could think of too. but that Horn has to figure in somehow. it almost seems to be causing the wall to fall. i'm baffled by this one.

It Happened One (k)Night

"Behold the Walls of Jericho! Maybe not as thick as the ones that Joshua blew down with his trumpet, but a lot safer. You see, I have no trumpet."

And, not for nothing, but Before Night Falls is still with Warner Brothers. My guess is that if Criterion has, by some miracle, licensed more films from the studio, this one wasn't exactly a priority on their list.

I can't tell if this is a joke or not, but it's a reference to the Biblical fall of the Walls of Jericho

Before Night Falls is actually a New Line release, maybe Warners feels better about lending it out over in-house titles?

If you were going to do It Happened One Night, your clue would be a drawing of one knight, not this complicated pictogram

This has certainly got to be it. Sony title, recently restored. Having last seen the movie ten years ago, about all I can remember of it is the constant references to the trumpet blowing down the walls of Jericho and that damn "way up high on the flying trapeze" song that seems to get stuck in my head every week.

100% gotta be this one. It explains the Capra page and it was likely licensed at the same time as Anatomy of a Murder from the Columbia Classics line. And in a brand new 4K restoration!!! YAY YAY YAY

Yay I got one!

And what a one to get! Can't wait to see a restored transfer. Saw it a few years ago and LOVED it.

Could be a double clue for Chabrol's Just Before Nighfall and The Breach.

I hope, after their botched experiment with letting TCM handle one of their classic titles, Sony has learned to just let Criterion handle them from here on out. I hope this ushers in the rest of Sony's Capra titles (provided they've been 4k'd first!)

There were rumors of a big Capra box a few years ago. I wonder if this will be a stand alone or come with the other rumored titles.
