Not frequently, but sometimes they are. The tannis root necklace from Rosemary's Baby showed up in a New Years drawing, and they later hinted at it again in a newsletter with a baby Rosemary sprig. Whether or not the figure with long hair in this year's New Years drawing was for Macbeth or The Wild Child (although consensus around here is that it was one of the witches), the figure was still wiping a "damned spot," which was also the subject of a later newsletter clue. So Macbeth was hinted twice.

The blu-ray.com review for Heaven & Earth is up- the reviewer gives it 4.5/5 PQ but if you look at the actual screencaps (at full res) there's severe jagged pixelation like I've never seen on a BD. At this price, it's completely appalling. And according to one poster on their forums, it's not just the caps- their copy of the disc shows the same thing.

Each license is for three years. If the 3,000 copies sell out in one year, no new copies can be printed, and no one else can release the title until the three years are over.

Though as we've already seen with Fright Night (and for future release, a number of other OOP titles), "other studios" just ends up being Twilight Time again. So for some titles they'll have them for 6 years.

I watched it yesterday and I noticed this as well. It's obviously an older transfer, wouldn't be surprised if it was the one for the DVD. Disappointing to say the least.

The impression I get is that if a title sells out, TT will likely get another 3 years repeated indefinitely (why mess with something that works), and if the 3,000 don't sell, which let's face it is not a lot of copies, no one else will want to release it. Not taking into account, of course, you might have sold more releasing it cheaper and through wider channels, but whatevs. And in particular, it seems logical to use a sellout as indicating enough demand for a "real" release, but then the owners that license to TT are the ones that didn't want to be hassled with their catalog in the first place.
