Off topic, but one of the cheekiest abuses of selective quotation I've seen is the blurb on the back of a recent translation of Madame Bovary:

As soon as I read Derek Malcolm's review of A View to a Kill and clocked that the first paragraph ended with "What more could any Bond fan want?", I just knew that that phrase would end up prominently emblazoned over all the advertising - a prediction that proved to be entirely correct.

It's a shame that the review went on to itemise what more a Bond fan could want, was entitled to expect, but didn't actually get.

It is weirdly disconcerting that the gray used on the background is very close to the gray used here for the background of posts, though I guess I can appreciate how it doesn't make someone immediately shudder.

Making their UHD covers different than the regular Blu-rays is a good concept, even if it results in bad artwork.

I've never heard of this director or these movies before, but I'm going to be really disappointed now if all the posters for his films going forward don't use this photo somehow. (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau's name is misspelled, too!)

Well....he seems to have moved on to a whole new angle: I preferred his earlier work, it had a more insightful quality.
