New Partner label titles will be announced on the 1st. But Nov is the black Friday sale so they've already announced all the main VS ones except the mystery titles which you have to wait for the sale to be revealed.

Ah, makes sense, thanks! I usually find the partner label titles more interesting than VS's main line anyway, tbh.

The scariest thing about Halloween is that Canadian International Pictures has released two Vinegar Syndrome movies in a row!

Sell-Out is the only title for me, though I also bought the 2nd and 4th VSU titles and the Paul Naschy 4K, so I wound up spending plenty of dough.

I wonder how Uzak will compare to the UK Blu? Are Big World Pictures decent?

Excited for more Wishman!

I have not seen it, but the general appraisal of the film and its very premise, not to mention the wealth of supplemental materials, intrigued me enough for a blind buy.

As with every sale, the cornerstone will be our dastardly duo of Secret Surprise Titles, which will be revealed the moment the sale goes live. As always, we aim to shock and delight with each surprise release and you can be rest assured that this time will be no different as we present two never-on-Blu bloodbaths! First, traversing one of our favorite genres, the 80s slasher, we're proud to be bringing a SoCal deep cut, which hasn't seen a video release in over two decades, to Blu, complete with a brand new feature length making-of doc! And, as the centerpiece of the sale, debuting on both Blu-ray and UHD, we'll be offering a star studded sleaze fest that has been flooring audiences for decades and is at last getting the release it deserves... Watch for more mouth watering hints in the coming weeks.

So this mystery UHD is a big budget exploitation sleazefest with an epic cast that is also a bloodbath and is also debuting on Blu-ray for the first time? Is the answer to this obvious? I genuinely have no clue what this title could be.

There was also this hint for the upcoming VSA titles in the newsletter:
Additionally, we'll be unveiling our next two VSA releases, one of which will present our initial (of many) dive into the filmography of one of world cinema's most iconic action characters.
This clue is for Santo vs Dr. Death.

Those were two separate clues and at this point I think the big budget sleaze has to be Showgirls, because what else comes close to that description?

Elsewhere they've said never on Blu for both titles so it can't be Showgirls

I don't think so since there's only been 2 secret titles, with only 1 title being 4K, that they have been hinting at for a couple months now.

I'm starting to wonder if this film even exists.

As per the VS banner hints (hand making devil horns in the air, heavy metal lady), maybe the centerpiece is Trick Or Treat (1986), which has been in process for a few years, though I believe it was going to be a Vestron title. Thought it might be Rock n' Roll Nightmare (1987), since it's technically still not on legit blu (also a Canadian production, though), or even Black Roses (1988), both of which were released on DVD in the past by Synapse. I can't say which one of these makes 100% sense, but I also can't remember most of what goes on in these films at this point in time (I blame Headbanger's Ball for clouding my metal identities rather than reinforcing hard truths, especially when it comes to horror, black coiffed hair and endless duckfaces, moreso all of those: together).

Also, it's VS we're dealing with, so tempering your expectations to whatever grail you might want may be in odor (not a typo). I feel like we all agree on that already, but w/e

Bigger news: the three Wakefield Poole DVD titles (Bijou, Boys In The Sand, & Take One/Moving!) on the VS site have been added to the Going Out Of Print page, so pick those up! The stock was fluctuating for a while, but I hope this means that there's a blu-ray set on the horizon (I need to pick up a copy of Dirty Poole, now that I mention it).

Additional Going Out Of Print Titles (mostly early VS material)

Deathrow Gameshow
Death Machines
Don't Answer The Phone
Blue Money
Double Exposure
The Hearse
Malibu High
My Chauffeur
Prime Evil / Lurkers

Sleaze film does sound like Showgirls but would also toss out the possibility of the Reese Witherspoon/Kiefer Sutherland film Freeway. It's been OOP for awhile and I noticed it popping up on a lot of streaming sites recently; usually a sign that someone has picked up the rights.

“Star studded sleaze” that is “decades” old can’t be anything other than Caligula…can it? It’s certainly a bloodbath as well

Does Kino still have Verhoeven's Flesh and Blood? Can't find it on Kino webstore or Barnes and Noble. Amazon listing says currently unavailable?

Apparently Caligula, Showgirls and The Devils have all been shot down by VS.

I can't imagine VS would tease Caligula MMXX instead of outright saying it'll happen (i.e. Thriller: A Cruel Picture), but last I heard it's still slated for 2023 with a theatrical run (!?!) and a coffee table book, which has been years in the making. Also, the MMXX crew just handing the keys over to VS seems a little haphazard, though not entirely improbable - just not exactly what I'd expect from a Black Friday surprise pre-order.
