Don't know which one is Werther, they all look pretty happy.

For a book that infamously inspired so many to take their lives after reading it, that poster actually looks exactly right

Read it years ago, it was a bit turgid. If I remember correctly even Goethe was somewhat
embarassed by it in later life.

The film shockingly doesn’t have bad reviews on Letterboxd, it’s probably just a distributor trying to recoup their investment by making it look like an Apatow film (helped by an Apatow being in it)

they thought Goethe's name alone wouldn't be a selling point(!)
