Wild at Heart (Criterion) - caps. Ravishing upgrade and an excellent encode.

Re: UHD New Releases, Reissues and Upgrades
Isn't the BFI Aguirre a DNR disaster? Also, is the Criterion SDR Wages of Fear better than the BFI 4K?

Re: UHD New Releases, Reissues and Upgrades
Thank you for reminding me to take the BFI Aguirre out of the OP!
I personally think the Criterion SDR Wages of Fear looks nicer than the BFI's Dolby Vision grade (ditto Elephant Man SDR vs Studio Canal's DV presentation or CC Eyes Without A Face SDR vs BFI DV).

Re: UHD New Releases, Reissues and Upgrades
Some black and white films probably would look better in SDR, like Rocco and His brothers, but personally I prefer HDR when it is done properly. I usually buy the UK releases over Criterion because they are cheaper for me, unless there is something bad, for example The Trial SC disc.
