In all fairness, it’s only slightly more strange than the actual dream sequence in the movie.

Sideways and Downsizing are actually both part of the Alexander Payne Cinematic Universe.

What's amazing is how that wine bottle has melded into both Giamatti's and Church's backside.

I don't think anyone had posted this, yet:

Larger here (if you dare).

This is just atrocious. I mean, there isn't really anything to say except it is just a bad idea, mixed with horrible digital tinkering. I haven't seen the film, yet, but I went to buy the UHD BD, and thankfully, Best Buy has an exclusive SteelBook version that is merely average, and therefore vastly superior, especially when you see this on the slipcover (not my image).

I don't know what the girls are doing there, but the guys all look like they could be standing at a urinal.

They're in a unisex bathroom. One is pissed off that there are only urinals and the other is amused by it.

I like how it uses Sony's MOD DVD line for a design template.

But they've replaced the striped background of the Sony MOD with a blue carpet.

Seen worse from a design angle, but in terms of having
literally nothing to do with the film it's advertising it has
to be up there with those Twilight themed editions
of Romeo and Juliet and Wuthering Heights.

I’ve seen a ton of temp art become slightly altered for text and remain the final art lately, we shall see on this one

I imagine we will get floating heads of the two leads and some quotes about how it's the greatest horror film of all time

I still feel that this is the worst cover ever posted in this forum

Image

Apologies for the small photo but is the only one I found in the net with this Region 3 cover.

You have to judge these covers by the relative worth of the films themselves. An atrocious cover for a crappy mid-90s martial arts comedy is not quite as bad, in my view, as a nearly-as-atrocious cover for a mid-40s film noir classic!
