I don't know about Mulholland Dr. Even if it's coming, I don't know that they'd necessarily pair it with Eraserhead.

I'd say there's at least a 33% chance Eraserhead is coming today, since it was on the Wacky New Year clue for 2013, and there are only three possible months of 2013 it could be released in.

I smell a Halloween related upgrade as well. Maybe one of the following?

Onibaba
Jigoku
Carnival of Souls
Fiend without a Face
Kwaidan
Sisters (coming to Blu in the UK)

I keep forgetting it was one of the clues. I'm guessing they'll pair it with the shorts -- either as one big "Early Lynch" release or a separate disc.

As has been pointed out, Criterion's not exactly running a holiday-themed release slate. I think a Picnic Blu might fit the bill though.

I forgot to add a Lady Eve Blu upgrade to my prognostications. They just added a bunch of phantom pages and posted an Eve-related news item.

Yeah. Scratch the Eve thing. Those phantom pages refer to the cast/crew behind Witch.

The great thing about I Married a Witch is that it's not a Halloween movie, it's an I Could Watch This Any Day of the Year Forever movie.

Cool news about the Uninvited-- glad I never imported the R2 DVD that came out last year. Not a great movie but a fun one

In the address bar just change the number 121168 to 121169, 121170, etc.

They don't often do other holidays no, but they have given us at least one horror title in October for the past 3 years.

Very happy about The Uninvited. One of the few films to genuinely spook me, along with The Innocents.

It'd be great if THE UNSEEN showed up as an extra for UNINVITED.

Great news about I Married A Witch, La Notte, and The Uninvited.

Does this mean that the rumored Antonioni box set is finally being announced today? L'Avventura was just remastered for the big screen and it is currently showing in NYC, so that sounds like a good indication. :)

Not necessarily. Remember a while back when they entered the cast/crew for DREAMS THAT MONEY CAN BUY, THE CELEBRATION and MOMMIE DEAREST?

That wasn't on an announcement day though. La notte will likely be announced today, though it's anyone's guess at this point whether it comes in a box or on its own. (Obviously, the other two films wouldn't need to have any phantom pages added for them.)

It seems unlikely they will announce a box today as it would probably be standard def only considering Janus is currently touring a new print of L'Avventura. I can definitely see Criterion doing a box when all of the titles will be available on Blu but right now seems too soon to me.

The conjecture is based on the phantom people pages 121183 through 121187.

And there's also this: http://www.criterion.com/people/119588-howard-hawks" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

And I don't think there are any imminent signs of a Hawks release from Criterion.
