Regarding the blu-ray replacement cases, this was posted by a user over on blu-ray.com...
Actually I just e-mailed them yesterday and got a response. They apparently have all the replacement cases in-stock now... except for Bottle Rocket. The representative told me I can make my payment for that now as well and they would ship out all the cases when Bottle Rocket goes in stock.
Also, there is a discount on the cases now: $5 for the first two, and $2.50 for any additional cases (previously it was $5 for per case no matter what).

To whom do we send the email? I sent an inquiry to Mr. Mulvaney on Sunday, but he did not reply.

What do you think of it?

I hope this helps!

Thanks, but no thanks. [-X I expected to find an answer to my question on the actual Criterion Forum, which I have read since its beginning. Fortunately, I have since easily uncovered it elsewhere on newer, more sociable forums.

They are subtle changes, but I'm so glad they got rid of the "graph paper" layer, the maroon accents, and that awful rounded typeface.

Thank you! I couldn't stand that terrible font that looks like it belongs back in the seventies!

They dumped the grid thing throughout the booklet as well, and also changed the font. It does look much better overall.

Seriously, were somebody's parents here murdered by a drafter or something?

I'm guessing this isn't a new problem but the too tightly applied shrinkwrap has warped all my double thick keep cases quite badly. Divorce, Italian Style looks like a banana. :(

Has anyone got a suggestion as to where I can buy a half dozen replacement cases or so? They don't seem to be very common over in the UK.

Looks like the Days of Heaven and Sanjuro/Yojimbo Blu's will utilize the same art work.

I expected Dillinger to be more outlandish.

Dillinger Is Dead is great, imo. Not crazy about the Bigger Than Life font.

The Dillinger font makes it look like one of you-know-who's covers but presumably the font is meant to resemble bullet holes?

Bigger Than Life and Days of Heaven on Blu, and Costa box. This month, I hardly even notice the covers.

Some great titles...but I think I hate the covers.
