Does De Niro have a giant purple ear or a man bun?

No de Niro wart, no sale. And shouldn't Pesci be like two feet shorter? It's just not realistic.

Just burst out laughing. Obviously an instant shoo-in for worst cover of the year. And of any year I have to look at it

I have to admire the nerve honestly. It takes guts to approve something so ridiculous. You know some executive looked at this shit and said "Yeah good enough".

I guess it's just the steelbook, so there is still hope. That or this might be the Cage aux Folles/Cuckoo's Nest fan-edit I've always dreamed of.

Nurse Ratched needs to be on the rear of the package to be the Sylvester to Nicholson's Tweety.

This is the non steelbook cover

It’s insane, because the original deluxe Blu-ray set that WB put out had a classy, period accurate cover

I thought "well, at least that's money saved as the standard release will be cheaper", and then... Yuck.
I don't understand the point of putting such ugly cover arts for steelbooks. At least, try and get to get people's money by making it way wore attractive than the standars visual. It's not a competition between which one will look worse.

Did they have a contest on who can come up with the shittiest cover? Also I love how they put the expiration date for the download code on the front cover, yet Miloš Forman's name isn't anywhere to be found. Brilliant idea.

Surely the best cover a movie like that could have?

Actually, I remember this from a video that RedLetterMedia posted a while back about Tubi and the advent of
what they called 'watchbait' (in which a recognizable visual, such as sharks, exorcism, and Amityville would
fool you into thinking that you're watching a movie along the lines of Jaws, The Exorcist and
The Amitville Horror, but what you're getting is basically a bunch of direct to streaming schlock.

Here's a link.

I dread to think of what they are going to come up with when All The Presidents Men hits 4K, or Dog Day Afternoon.

Another reason for hoping Criterion gets both Dog Day Afternoon, as long rumored, and All the President’s Men.

Isn't this supposed to be a thread for bad covers?
