Everybody's story: This is Forty
Not everybody's story: The black man who has to work sixteen hours a day six days a week just to live in an apartment and whose wife has to work just as much plus taking care of the kids to put food in everyone's mouths.

Yeah, that's approaching near-Sex In The City "head in the sand" attitude towards the rest of the world.

On a related note, the quite interesting-looking Chuck Norris vs. Communism. Q&A with the film's subject here.flyonthewall2983 wrote:The Last Stand

A friend of mine was raving about the new Danish movie he had a chance to see (apparently it was a big hit at Sundance this year)...the trailer looks very promising: Teddy Bear.

The Iceman. So far this film seems to be getting fairly good reviews at Venice.

This is an animated film about the life of Monty Python member Graham Chapman. Some of the animation looks a bit dicey. (Too bad they didn't have Gilliam animated the whole film, he really has a gift for making cheap-o animation look splendid.) The film debuts at Toronto in a week or so.

Stand Up Guys with Al Pacino, Christopher Walken and Alan Arkin. Not to mention Señor Salamanca as well. This actually looks like it has some potential beyond just pairing screen greats for a standard comedy-drama.
