We're nearly out of the 800s and no Godard and no Bergman in 800-888, each director has always had at least one film released in every set of 100 films. 0-99, 100-199, 200-299 et al.

Obviously a meaningless pattern but they're both over due.

Is there any guarantee that Eclipse is/isn't dead? I just googled and found an article from 2013 that reminded me that that was the era of Eclipse spine 40. We haven't really done much past that since then, but I've found it to be an indispensable part of the collection even given its thrifty shortcomings (all of which are structural and self-evident). Was Nov '15 really the last one? Maybe I'm extra agitated by the prospect that the series ends on the number 44. Maybe there's another world where we're up to 89 and all mainline titles had Stephen Prince commentaries.

Seems King Lear is a lock so we me be getting him in the 800s after all.
