What's the included supplement for Bitter Victory? That's A+ Ray and hope it comes from Criterion on physical media.

Chromecast is a television platform, and a cheap one; it'll be available more widely soon, though, hopefully, maybe

(I think all the Zatoichi films have been on the platform anyway)

As of this evening (May 4, 2017), Filmstruck is sending out invitations to become a beta tester for the Roku version. One may sign up for this (if one hasn't already received an invitation) on the Filmstruck help page.

There's a page up (non-Criterion Channel) for Rivette's THE NUN, possibly the single most exciting title I've seen Filmstruck offer yet

Any word whatsoever on game consoles? If it took them 6 months+ to get to the point where they only have a beta for Roku, I'm not optimistic, but just checking.

Today, for the first time, on the chrome browser, films began to dynamically scale to the screen shape of my laptop, 1.66 and 1.33 films are no longer window boxed in a 16:9 frame on my computer.

I'm completely baffled THIS is the closest Criterion has come tangentially to John Sayles so far

Where have you seen an announcement that this IS available on Roku as opposed to due real soon now"?

I emailed them after reading this and received a prompt response. For those interested, they've closed the enrollment for Roku beta testing but they may "reopen them for a third wave" in the near future.

It seems like the new ROKU app is working seamlessly with the ROKU TV. I am planning to start the yearly subscription after 2 mos!

Does anyone know if there is an Instantwatcher equivalent for Filmstruck?

Their recent article (updated every Friday, apparently) lists quite a number of notable deletions for the next couple of months. :(
