Nice job! Have the wacky "C" broken in half to make your point. :)

I'm not happy with the font either, I was thinking of recycling the font used in the poster or current DVD cover, but neither worked. I didn't have enough choices to use so I kind of half-assed that part.

I thought the rule was "all films starting with a 'C' shall incorporate the wacky 'C' into the presentation of the title of the film," a la Chungking Express.

P.S. Nice cover. I like the pretty greens.

Bring the top of the image down a bit so that the top of Groucho's head cap comes fully into view and Me Like.

Ah, if only.

The "Silver Collection" that contains Duck Soup is a good collection, but so much more could be done with the Brothers.

And I have to agree with Shreck's idea. Bring the full hat into view and it's a brilliant cover.

You could add the word "in" somewhere so that it reads, "C the Four Marx Bros. in 'Duck Soup'"

That's the kind of tagline they used to employ back in the day.

Unfortunately, it's cropped that way in the original poster image, though I'm sure there is an uncropped version of the art somewhere in the Uni vaults.

Even so, note how the original poster repro'd here brings the person of Groucho down from the very border of the image, to keep him from disappearing off the edge of the page-- a compositional no-no in this kind of visual arrangement.

Dignan, did you paint that in yourself, or do you have access to another poster which reproduces a fuller version of the original poster art?

Wow. I had no idea that Hayden Christensen was one of the Marx brothers.
