Sad to hear that one. She's as good as any American editor that I can think of, and was a very pleasant person too. She came to Denver a few years ago and did several nights of intros and discussions of three or four of her films. Already in her 80s, she was sharp, energetic, and a pleasure to listen to.

So sad. The Redgraves sure have had some misfortunes over the last year and a half. Lynn was a great talent and seemed to grow lovelier with each passing year.

I saw her on stage about twenty years ago, in a production of Three Sisters, starring two Redgrave sisters and their niece - Vanessa, Lynn and Jemma. And Phoebe Nicholls as well. That was quite something.

Nothing to do with movies, but long-time radio voice for the Detroit Tigers, Ernie Harwell, is gone.
