I heard it on BBC radio news, but there isn't a link anywhere. Strange.

Who should have been on our Centenarians thread. Until now, obviously. Possibly missed because Wikipedia's list doesn't include him and he doesn't have an entry there.Ovader wrote:Gunnar Fischer

The latest edition of DGA Monthly notes the death of Leo C. Popkin (1912-2011), who directed independent movies as early as 1938, including the film noir The Well (1951; co-directed by Russell Rouse). Popkin also produced D.O.A. (1949) with his older brother Harry Popkin.

Re: Passages
Not that I can find besides other local news sites picking up TMZ's story. I'm sure a proper obit will surface soon, I'll post it if/when I come across it.
EDIT: AV Club obit.

Driving at 132 to 140 mph, with a BAC of .196. The jokes write themselves, but it's too bad they're not funny. I'm glad that you and mfunk were not on the road when this happened.LQ wrote:Ryan Dunn of Jackass fame.
