The obviously photoshopped Venetian blinds and shadows bug me a little, not becaue they're not appropriate, but because they just don't look that convincing.

Here's the original publicity shot:

I agree with Feego. It rarely pays off doing massive Photoshop fakery.

I wonder if the booklet cover was designed by the same person who did these two posters for TCM in 2009?

The original poster's pretty good!

This is a very valid point. I think the implications I referenced are clearly there in the steam, the sweat and the boiling of the coffee, but all of that does look kind of...contained. Perhaps if they lost the fancy silver serving tray. I'm not sure the cover they went with does any more to give people who haven't seen the film an idea of what they're getting into, though.

Agreed. The lighting and the perspective on the shades don't jibe.

Well I just pre-ordered The Big Heat. Knowing my luck, that will mean that MoC release it here in the UK cheaper and packed full of extras but I didn't want to take the risk.

High Time sounds like the only worthy title this round-- Tuesday Weld plus Bing Crosby is too irresistible to pass up. Cover Girl's good, but not worth a triple dip. No interest whatsoever in Flying Machines. And Bye Bye Birdie = Barf

I'm surprised they were able to bypass contractual obligations for that credit-free As Good As It Gets cover

And what kind of marketing genius puts Jayne Mansfield inside the case? #-o

Looks like Twilight Time, not Mill Creek, has Bonjour Tristesse.
From Twilight Time's facebook page:
Funny you should mention that, Greg, as they inadvertently announced one of our titles, "Bonjour Tristesse," but that has been sorted out and the title is back with us....as for the others, we don't know what their 250 titles consist of, but the good news for collectors is there will obviously be a lot more SPHE films coming out in the near future...

^ Well this makes more sense. Sounds like we finally know for sure who has Bonjour Tristesse.

The French Blu-ray should be just as good but hopefully a little cheaper then (although Wild Side are pretty dear too).

I don't understand their 5% discount option if you pay by bank transfer in the UK. To do that I need to ring a pay telephone number twice and that will cost me more than the discount itself. Strange.

With shipping it's £19, so it's about £3 cheaper than buying it from Screen Archives through Amazon marketplace.

Uh, anyone have any trouble with their Roots of Heaven Blus? The main menu comes up but I can't select anything and can't bypass the menu to just play the fucking film. I paid thirty-five dollars for this?

I believe I came across posts in various forums where some Twilight discs have issues with certain players, with Insignia being the most common name.

As to contacting them I wasn't able to find anything on the SA site. You could always try their Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/#!/twilighttimemovies" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

When I had a minor issue with an order I contacted them at [email protected] and got a prompt and helpful response.
