It's not bad, but certainly not as good as Maria Full of Grace. No Catalina Sandino Moreno (or equivalent) makes quite a difference.

well if the Wenders set is four movies, they'd probably assign a fifth number to the box itself. so it's probably something other, like the Pasolini.

me too. and by the looks of it, both could come next month at this point (I could see Pasolini being bumped back to the first week of November due to some sort of delay)

I saw on another forum that 630-633 is this:

I don't know where that info or picture came from though.

Is it normal for Criterion to skip spine numbers and delay the corresponding titles? (any past examples?)

It's happened dozens and dozens of times over the past 14 years

I can't give any specific examples, but there used to be spine number holes all the time before Criterion's announcements got more regimented, and those holes would get plugged in with later releases.

Seems like a missed opportunity not to bend the rules further and make Rosemary's Baby spine #666.

I'm sure you can find loads of examples if you rifle through this list.

After Kim Newman's announcement of a new booklet essay for The Blob, I had assumed an October release was all but certain.
