So, uh, my Hoichi the Earless costume made the finals (eeeeee!)...should you feel so inclined, you should all mosey on over to Facebook and "like" it. Unlike the last contest, this one is determined by popular vote. Link

I know you all don't know LQ too well, but take my word for it that she's wonderful and deserves this. So take a second out for her, won't you?

Thanks, guys! Although, I don't think I'll be beating that House duo's entry, which makes me grin every time I look at it.

Yeah, I can understand why that one's in the lead. I don't understand why creepy skinny guy's Videodrome's so far up there, though.

A win for LQ is a win for the forum, though. I think we can pull this out. If we could destroy the original Viridiana cover (sob), we can do this!

Some stiff competition there. The Mastroianni and Rob Reiner both made me chuckle. Nice work regardless LQ.

Domino, you should be able to click on my link above and scroll through the album even if you don't have a facebook account, because the Criterion page is public.

Yeah, I'm certainly not going to win, but it was nice to be a finalist again. And I'm sure I'll find something to do with my free copy of Rosemary's Baby.

You've posted that photo before on the boards and the detail of it never ceases to impress me. Voted!

I found the one from The Killing pretty good also and the Rosemary's Baby is quite hilarious but definitely vote for LQ only.

Ha, yes, that picture has indeed appeared here once or twice before over the years. Its definitely my proudest Halloween moment, and it took so goddamn long to finish that I don't have too much guilt whipping out a couple-years-old photo if the circumstances allow for it.

And thanks for the fervent support, tenia, but I'm firmly buried in the runners up. At least I don't have to split the consolation prize with "Owlbert" this go-round.

It's such a simple costume, but I love the Marty DiBergi.

That's it. How did I not think of doing something like this for this year's Halloween? I'll be doing something like this next year then...

Hey, there I am as Max Renn! I was pleased as punch to get selected and voted so high! I was sure the Kwaidan and Rosemary's Baby ones were gonna kick my ass. This was really fun and I was super impressed by the Time Bandits outfit!

Criterion on Twitter:

"The Simpsons have made more than a few references to films in the Criterion Collection. Here’s a list: http://ow.ly/gxVnr" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;"
