It's not Dead Ringers. There's no reason to believe that, and the rights are still with Warner Bros.

Agh they need to give that one back to criterion..

Also, is there a Criterion sale specific thread on the forum? I just wanted to let people know that B&N has a buy 2 get 1 free criterion sale going on.

I was going to say A Man For All Seasons but Columbia/Sony owns that.

Sony/Columbia does have a deal with Criterion, so its not unheard of. But this is obviously Persona.

It has to be Persona. Fits in with everything else. The Liv & Ingmar-related phantom pages. Faro Dokument on Hulu. "Person A." Seems to me this one is going to be a packed and exciting release, fitting for what could be the most monumental new Criterion title in a while.

And as for why it appears to be two men instead of two women, don't they both wear jackets and pants that would look like that from behind? Not that I think it matters, "Person A" is "Person A." Just a thought.

What about Boy A(2007), directed by John Crowley and starring Andrew Garfield. It seems a little to obvious to me, so considering I never figure these clues out, that alone makes Persona seem much more likely. Plus I have no idea of the rights issues. But I did think it was a great movie.

And since the circle is red, we can assume an HD-DVD release too!

Not to be outdone, they've gone Tri-format, excellent.

Note that this doesn't preclude the inclusion of a VHS tape, a laser-disc, and an actual coaster with the cover art printed on it so you can conveniently set your drink down while watching all these spectacular formats!

Excellent. So proud of myself for guessing one of these. I'm usually so horrible at it.

Man i love Donald Fagan. I love it when they ask brilliant people you wouldn't normally expect to see asked about what movies they love.

His list also leads me to wonder again about whether Day of Wrath will ever see a blu release, never mind what the hell is taking Joan of Arc so long.
