Looks like he's ripped off the title of a Sigur Ros album.

LaBoof was in a Sigur Ros video, so I'm not convinced it isn't intentional.

also, I liked this quote:
Skarsgard: "When we call this a porno, it's meant ironically, but irony doesn't work well in print. The film is sexually explicit -- but, believe me, it will be a very, very bad wanking movie."

The Chapter 3 clip is slightly reminding me of The Handmaid's Tale!

And since there was talk about the treatment of the title above, I like that the way the title as it is used in these trailers makes it look as if the "()" is separating "Nymph" and "Maniac" into separate words, acting almost like a balancing symbol used in an equation!

Somehow I find this string of teasers gradually dulling my appetite for the film.

7. The film contains extensive archive footage, which helps loosen up the film and drag it into unexpected directions. These elements are mainly videos that von Trier has found on YouTube. As part of the promotion of Nymphomaniac, von Trier has said that he is launching a new genre called “digressionism”, and consequently we are now one step closer to understanding what this means.
I don't understand this at all, but ok. Youtube videos? Maybe this is something different, but it sounds like some kind of Godard-like pastiche work. We shall see.

Apparently the "hardcore" version is too hardcore for Danish and Norwegian theaters and may premiere at next year's Cannes instead.

Fourteen new character posters

I think Skarsgård is my favorite, though it's hard to choose.

Fabulous. I like Kier and Dafoe.

EDIT: Though not on my bedroom wall, thanks.

I'd like to pretend that Uma Thurman's poster is a homage to Daria Nicolodi's dream sequence in Mario Bava's Shock:

If the poster stills are taken from framegrabs or based on moments from the film, they should think about making these into a teaser trailer. A series of rapid jumpcut O-faces.

They are almost certainly posed promotional photos taken in a studio. Though I'm sure there will be no shortage of contorted expressions littered through its extended 5 hour running time.

Sort of like that scene in Amélie?

The next teaser chapter, which includes a triptych of someone playing with their organ while others have sex. Needless to say its NSFW!

Glad to see that von Trier isn't done with the Tarkovsky homages. (That Bach organ piece is the same one from the opening credits of Solaris, if I'm not mistaken.)
