I haven't seen this posted, yet, but...

Dario Argento is seeking additional funding for The Sandman starring Iggy Pop!

If I had $2500 to spare, don't think I wouldn't be first in line to have lunch with Iggy.

Paul Schrader's latest film the Dying of the Light has been taken away from him and recut/rescored. Nicolas Cage and producer Nicolas Winding Refn wear borderline litigious shirts in protest

Side note: Anton Yelchin looks like he's playing Parks and Recreation's Councilman Jamm in some sort of misguided origin story.

Toy Story 4 is nothing compared to this.

What the hell, Disney and Morgan Spurlock?

Stop comically pretending to rub your eyes, you're reading this right: Melissa McCarthy is Tinkerbell

A Shawn Levy film? How can that go wrong!

I'd be okay with the idea but given I am not a fan of Mr. Levy's work, yeah; next.

Steve McQueen (12 Years a Slave, Hunger) to direct a film based on the British miniseries Widows.

Steve McQueen Sets Paul Robeson Biopic as Next Feature

Last year, Steve said he was 15 years old. Now he claims to be 16. Which is it, Steve? Better keep your story straight. He'd also like you to believe he's not a baby eater. But he's never gone on record saying he isn't. Maybe he's too busy eating babies!

Philippe Grandrieux is at work on a new feature, Malgré la nuit (literally 'in spite of the night').

Note the dates of the posted articles - the Robeson biopic was initially announced as his next film, but it quickly emerged that the Widows film is coming first.

Yeah, that's the joke. One day I read the article about the Robeson pic, then the very next day the article about Widows was posted.

I guess it's my fault for not making the punchline obvious

Daily News report headline says it will take place on a private plane, instead of a train.

My immediate thought was that the WHOLE THING would take place on a plane. Which would be cool/impossible?

I just think it is sexist that even with the gender swap all a female Ghost Buster can imagine is a gigantic rampaging man destroying the city.

The third Pee-Wee Herman movie (and the first since 1988), Pee-Wee's Big Holiday, begins filming in three weeks and is due for release later this year. It is being produced by Judd Apatow and will be distributed exclusively by Netflix. As a life-long Pee-Wee Herman fan, I'm very excited about this.
