It's great to see that the film "Viva Maria and George Hamilton" has been released on Blu-ray

Oh yeah, I own that cover. Yeah I noticed they took the font from the Platinum Dunes Texas Chainsaw Massacre films and applied it to the new editions of the second film.

I know that miramax has been using a DDL glamor shot for this film since it premiered, but the latest iteration is just outrageous. Just put Hugh Grant on there, whydontcha?

One of the first five DVDs I ever bought and I still haven't seen it! Ah, started down that path so early in life

One of the sloppiest uses of photoshop I've ever seen. And this is a film that features the ever awesome Dwayne Johnson.

Just a few of Universal's upcoming and increasingly horrifying "Happy Face" re-issues:

I think it's pretty obvious as to which one is the absolute terrifying in comparison.

The white border and rounded edges reminds me of those awful plastic VHS cases usually reserved for family films.

I was curious enough to look it up, and apparently it was a not specifically faith-oriented Canadian film in 2008 titled A Thousand Hills, about an awkward 13-year-old boy who tries to make money by recording a CD to win the favor of a pretty girl at school and to raise money to save the family farm. It didn't attract a distributor back then, but now a "family-oriented" distributor has taken a shot at rebranding it as an overtly Christian film with a new title, tagline, and misleading cover image with people and a dog not actually in the film. But the "wholesome Christian entertainment" crowd doesn't seem to appreciate the film or the bait-and-switch tactic. No "redeeming qualities" (blunt Christian messages)! Young girls in the film are immodestly dressed! etc.

One of thousands of "books" plagiarized from Wikipedia text about the subject which is then garbled up with the help of word-substitution software and offered by Amazon to an unsuspecting and/or uncritical public.
