Not that I'm complaining much, since I still came out of the sale VERY well, but after ordering thirteen titles from Indicator (and thus surpassing the free shipping threshold for an international order to Australia) I then got hit by a 9.10 pound charge for 'Large Heavy Parcel' under Shipping Method.

You've contacted them directly, presumably?

Same here. Came with tracking as well, which is a nice touch for free shipping from the UK.

Cronenfly wrote: Fri Nov 23, 2018 7:38 pm Is it safe to order to Canada through Indicator now? Do they still send using a method that automatically leads to import fees or have they changed? I placed a small order to test the waters but it would be nice to know for sure.
I don't recall having to pay extra for my order during last year's sale or the Harryhausen bundle. I just went to town on this sale so I hope that's still the case.
When I ordered that bundle, they sent it through UK Royal Mail and it sailed through customs without a hitch. Now that the rotating Canada Post strikes are scheduled to end this weekend or in the next few days, the same thing is likely to happen this time and orders can be expected to arrive normally once the backlog is cleared. Unless the order is so big that the declared value raises a flag in the customs system.

If they send it though a private courier like Fedex or Purolator, things may be different.
To follow up on the Canadian import fee question, my order recently arrived in two packages through Canada Post with no additional charges.

Between the Bundle coupons and the reduced shipping fees, I'm very happy with the current princing evolutions on PH's webstore. I'll happily switch my future orders from Amazon to them.

I pre ordered Last Movie when it was first announced, from Amazon. Yet, my copy has not shipped yet, which is strange, as it’s beyond therelease date and I have Prime. It is supposed to arrive next Saturday. And, it has now sold out from amazon. This is mystifying and I’ve not had problems ordering Indicator items before.

I presume it hasn't actually sold out... Amazon just says 'Temporarily out of stock' and Indicator have previously been fairly communicative about titles selling out.

Wasn’t there a similar problem between Amazon and Powerhouse last year? Some admin glitch? BTW my copy arrived here in Australia yesterday, it took 11 days via Royal Mail and, unlike Amazon, it was very well packaged in a large box stuffed with bubble-wrap. I ordered it direct from Powerhouse and was charged a nominal rate.

Come to think of it, Christine and Body Double, their first ever release, couldn’t be fulfilled on release date.

My order of The Last Movie still hasn't shipped as well. I've had three rotten experiences with Amazon in the past month: one broken item (which I requested a replacement for on Jan. 2; it still hasn't been dispatched, and the item page flip-flops between availability and third-party sellers) and two delayed packages. ](*,)

I wrote to their customer service. They apologized, and reassured me that it will ship in 48 hours. They further told me that if it did not ship in 7 days, I should write to them again. Tomorrow will be the 7th day, and I still have not received it. It is quite frustrating that their customer service people do not have any understanding of what is going on, and just keep giving scripted replies. Never again will I buy any Indicator title from them.

Not to mention but it's been two weeks and a day since March's titles were revealed , and Amazon does not have them up for pre-order.

I finally got an e-mail from Amazon that The Last Movie has shipped. It is expected to arrive on the 19th of February.

Does Indicator not do any monthly bundles for their new releases? This is the first month where I want all the new titles and for some reason I thought they had deals on their site for picking them all up?

They do! And helpfully, you are able to pick and choose 4 from the last two months of announcements

You can actually add more than 4 if you so wish - only at the time of writing this though. I might've copped A Dandy in Aspic if I'd realised, but I've already placed my order for the four April titles (all must-haves in my book).

I only want to skip Lilith since I already have the Mill Creek release so that might be practical to get all other 7 releases.
I just wonder if the March ones will then only be shipped when the April ones are available.

I used the bundle offer to grab all the March and April titles, and my expectation is that they will all be shipped in April. At least that would be consistent with my prior experiences of ordering direct from their website.

That'd be my expectations too considering how their website phrases it, but I was wondering since it might refer to orders containing in-stock products and pre-orders, not various layers of pre-orders. Oh well, I might just take 2x4 titles then and do like Domino with my Ship of Fools / Lilith copy.

Is this something Indicator always does? I'm not really interested in the March titles but definitely want all of April so I'm wondering if it's worth waiting for the May announcement to see if I'd want to add any of those. My unwatched pile is large that I don't mind waiting an extra mobth.
