I'm sure that's their top priority tonight if the ceremony so far is any indication

Well, Orson Bean's passing would be a good segue to a Wilhelm Reich shout-out

The Smashing Pumpkins’ “We Only Come Out at Night” is being used in a commercial in 2020? Wonders never cease.

I was shocked by this, too. What a deep cut as well. Strange times.

I'm glad that he mentioned how stunt performers have been rallying behind their own Oscars category for many years now.

Yeah! Haven’t seen this movie, but thrilled Laura Dern finally has her Oscar.

I know some people didn’t like Dern’s performance in this movie and that’s cool, but anyone who isn’t at least a little happy to see Laura Dern win an Oscar is a terrible person who hates movies.

It's just more of what she did in Big Little Lies, so it wasn't that she was bad, just that she was familiar. You're 100% correct on all fronts though

So happy for her and one of the best declarations of gratitude to parents in the history of the ceremony

Some people can kick rocks. She's Hollywood's greatest living actress.

This music montage is a great reminder that films didn't exist prior to the mid-80's

That was a lot of buildup to a belated Best Original Song performance from 20 years ago.

the show keeps recycling itself. Remember when they trotted out the same damn songs from Chicago and Dreamgirls 10+ years after both came out?
