Interesting, Damien Chazelle is the only American to win Best Director in the last 10 years!

With Phoenix finally winning, who’s our greatest current actor/actress without an Oscar? Amy Adams?

Pleasantly surprised by Cathy Burns and Harriet Frank getting the In Memoriam treatment, but peeved that it left out Ivan Passer and Ryszard Bugajski.

I think that when an actor wins an Oscar for playing a real person, they should have to give their acceptance speech in character.
