Candyman Collection? With the first in 4k and the Clive Barker underground film (can't remember if it was Salome or The Forbidden now)?

Admittedly, a stretch but I'm sure the original would be welcome in 4k if it's a possibility.

I'm not sure what you're referring to in reference to Clive Barker's early films. Neither of them have anything to do with Candyman.

I'd say another Children of the Corn set would be more likely. Though I'm not sure who'd be willing to buy it?

Oh right, The Forbidden short isn’t related to The Forbidden short story (which was developed into Candyman).

I have the shorts, I believe, in the Scarlet Box, but was unable to get into them.

I hope that the title "SS" for November is in fact "SvS" where "v" stands for versus.

Coming soon to Blu-ray from Arrow Video

MILL OF THE STONE WOMEN (Il mulino delle donne di pietra)
Italy, 1960 – Dir. Giorgio Ferroni
The first Italian horror produced in colour, Ferroni’s landmark Italian Gothic boasts an impressive saturated signature, a style which was later picked up by Mario Bava when he made BLOOD AND BLACK LACE (1964). As a result, much like the later features by Bava, the film stands out stylistically for its bold painterly qualities, in this case layered in gorgeous, dark, fairy tale artifice. Picking up the baton from Gothic romance-tinged mad science films, such as HOUSE OF WAX (1953), MILL OF THE STONE WOMEN takes the staple ‘woman-into-wax’ trope into unconventional territory with strange experiments, weird vampirism, and the dead coming back to life. World Premiere of Arrow Video’s new restoration debuts at Fantasia International Film Festival

I’m hoping it’s for Phenomena, which also has a 4k restoration produced by Arrow themselves, and they do seem to be on a run of Argento UHDs. No idea if their relative popularity would make one more appealing to release than the other, though.

I wonder if any of the mystery box sets being hinted at, are going by some esoteric release title? Remember when YOL and VT turned out to be Years Of Lead and Vengeance Trails? "CC" could be "Creepy Castles", for instance, and it's a box set dedicated to Italian Gothic horror films. This might fit in with the recently announced Mill of the Stone Woman.

I’m fairly certain I’ve seen confirmation somewhere online that Arrow are bringing Phantasm to UHD, bit it may well’ve been rumours that’d turned into a “fact”. Whenever it happens, Phenomena still seems almost a given.

You'd think Phantasm would be a priority as the B-R is from a 4k restoration. It is a big cult film and almost certainly people will upgrade.
But does that mean they repackage the sequels as well? Would the sequels merit 4k upgrades, any of them?
I'm not keen on the 2nd film but that's the only one in the set that looked a bit "stale." & it's a bigger budget film whose gloss would perhaps come across, in UHD.

Definitely, expecting Phenomena at some point. Argento is something of a priority. Obviously his films were among Arrow's first slate on B-R releases, and got upgrades (most of them) when better scans were available. And Arrow clearly are committed to upgrading his work to UHD already.

Phantasm II has already had a new remaster since Arrow released their box:

So it would be a good opportunity to upgrade that title as well, even if it was just a new BD.

I didn’t realise. So now Arrow kind of need to go “one up”, as their release of the 2nd film is now officially out of date.

Also we’re assuming a HELLRAISER 4k. But what of the first two sequels? Part 2, for me, is a big dumb sequel. More monsters, more hell. But a lot of ppl like it. And a 4k would show off this bigger budget entry.

And while not as popular, part 3 is a fine piece of craftsmanship by the gifted Anthony Hickox.

Surely all 3 would merit uhd releases. But how feasible is this?

18 parasols... 18 umbrellas... that's about how many Resident Evil moves there are.

Ha, there’s already a 4k UHD box set available in U.K. & US territories, by Sony.

Great set & I love most of the films (apart from the second).

It would make too much sense for an Arrow clue if this one was for Under the Rooftops of Paris(Parasol), so that can't be it.

Turns out that Paramount will be releasing Wolf of Wall Street on 4K in December in the U.S. I'm going to assume that the upcoming Arrow release will be U.K. only, that is if they still have the rights to it.

I think that was always likely because of the split rights: Paramount in the US, Universal (the likely licensor to Arrow) in the UK.

October titles are up on Amazon:

Deep Red (4K UHD)
Giallo Essentials [Red Edition]
Yokai Monsters Collection
Rainer Werner Fassbinder Volume 1
Dementer + Jug Face
He Came From the Swamp standard edition

Very curious what the Fassbinder set will turn out to be. I wonder if it's just a repackage of their earlier releases, but they themselves were broken out of a box set so surely they wouldn't re-re-release them? But if it had different titles then presumably it would be labelled Volume 2 instead of Volume 1....I guess that we'll find out in a few hours.

The Giallo Essentials set is just a reissue of titles already released by Arrow, and include 'The Possessed', 'The Fifth Cord', and 'The Pyjama Girl Case'.
