I don’t think the two blackface Garland and Rooney movies are ever coming to Blu from WA

Re: Warner Brothers Archive Collection Blu-rays
The latest TheExtras podcast George Feltenstein mentioned that he and animation historian Jerry Beck are working on something they hope to get green-lit from Warner Media (37.30 minutes in). He said it's on the scale of the Popeyes and the Tex Averys. I'm not sure what that could be. Any guesses?

Re: Warner Brothers Archive Collection Blu-rays
Isn’t The Bugs Bunny Show just short skits around classic Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies? Not sure it makes sense as a release, but I do love that catchy theme song, a staple of ABC Saturday morning cartoons as a kid.
After never receiving any sort of follow-up to the Porky Pig 101 set back in 2017, I’m holding my breath on adventurous Warner Bros. cartoon sets. But I’d hope for more character sets, director sets, or even a release of the infamous banned eleven.

Re: Warner Brothers Archive Collection Blu-rays
bits from a podcast Feltenstein was on recently (skip to 2:32:00):
Zaslav, the WB/Discovery CEO, seems to be respectful of WB's legacy so the Archive doesn't seem to be in peril.
The '31 Jekyll and Hyde is almost done.
The Mosquito Coast is very likely to going to happen soon, thanks to their deal with Saul Zaentz's company.
He reckons UHD releases are going to come eventually.

The Frisco Kid (1979) not to be confused with Frisco Kid, Cagney (1935)yoloswegmaster wrote: ↑Sat May 28, 2022 12:34 pm'Adventures of Don Juan' and 'The Frisco Kid' are going to be released in July.
edit: this seems to be it for this month. Meh. Feltenstein has said the second half of the year the output will be great. I hope so because so far 2022 has been pedestrian at best

If anyone owns the The Wonderful World of the Brothers Grimm Blu-ray, what are the optional subtitles like? Capital font, yellow etc.

Normal - white font, sentence case as appropriate. WAC has long dropped having all caps and only use yellow titles on their black and white films (for whatever reason!)
