Re: Trailers for Upcoming Films
At least they backed off calling it Sole Man. And Adam McKay's not involved. It has that going for it.
Writer's been Black List-ed a couple times, but the only thing on his imdb page are this and his height.

Maybe this is in service of Matt Damon and Ben Affleck's 'Project Greenlight'. I don't like McKay either, but at least he'd have a chance of making it an interesting failure

Re: Trailers for Upcoming Films
Don't know of any connection to Greenlight, anything's possible. But since I watched The Menu and realized I got backdoored into a McKay project I've decided I'm going to scan production credits for anything desperate to pretend it thinks it has something to say about recent events or the current state of the world because I find myself severely allergic to the vibe of things carrying his imprimatur. (I watch Succession, but never without an EpiPen.)
This one looks beige and avoidable out of the gate, thankfully.

The 30 For 30 on the real Vaccaro made watching this pretty funny. Damon looks nothing like him. I can kind of buy Affleck with the sunglasses sitting behind a desk as Phil Knight. It’s kind of funny they didn’t cast someone to play MJ.

Re: Air (Ben Affleck, 2023)
It would be distracting for another actor to mimic him, and it would be distracting if they had deepfaked his likeness, but both would have been preferable to giving him the Prophet Muhammad treatment, having him frequently present in the action but never responding to prompts and always rushing to hide his face from the camera!flyonthewall2983 wrote: ↑Thu Feb 09, 2023 8:04 pmIt’s kind of funny they didn’t cast someone to play MJ.

A proper Jordan bio-pic of everything that comes after the instant popularity of the shoe could be epic in the right hands
