A former colleague once ordered a book about the latest video codecs, and was sent one about how to make little wooden toys.

Obviously an accident, but it was such a gloriously Luddite alternative that it would have been truly inspired if it had been deliberate.

Despite the disclaimer about longer shipping times, my 10/30 order arrived in Chicago on 11/10. I'm pretty sure I went with the cheapest shipping option, too (UPS Worldwide Expedited).

The Big Gundown never shipped from Zavvi either. Remains advertised as In Stock, but will never dispatch.

Anyone else still waiting on their sale order being dispatched? I ordered on the second day and no dice yet. I know they tend to prioritise overseas order first.

Still waiting as well TM, ordered on the second day as well and I’m based in the UK. A lot of people on blu-ray.com who ordered later have received their orders so it may well be as you say and they have prioritised overseas first.

Same. I placed two orders, just minutes apart. (I made a silly error.) One shipped quite promptly and arrived in Connecticut in great time. The second has yet to ship.

I'm UK-based and still waiting for dispatch of 6 LEs ordered on 31st October. But it's not a problem - I have dozens of films still to watch from other sales this month. :)

UK here, and I received my sale order (Michael Murphy, Pemini and The Brute) on Wednesday. I imagine it’s a matter of which titles were in stock and ready to go.

I assume we just got the last announcement for the year, so I'd like to place an order sometime in the next week or so. It will include February titles so it will take until at least then to ship. PM me if you want in

I am depressingly not shocked at all 90 in the Shade is getting deleted but it still saddens me because I’m positive the main reason it’s getting deleted is that it’s not a good seller which sucks because who knows what other Czech films could have been brought up if this sold better (yes I’m aware it was an accidental discovery but still).

As with the Fox titles from a few months ago, the latest batch of deletions all come from the same rightsholder; it's got nothing to do with how well they sold or otherwise. (The Legacy, for instance, sold out its limited edition in less than a year.)

But with regard to 90˚ in the Shade, it was always going to be a one-off because the film itself was a one-off, as the only Anglo-Czechoslovak co-production from the Communist era with any artistic merit (there's only one more, a reputedly terrible thriller). And Czech cinema is being rather well catered for right now compared with the output of many other countries, what with Second Run covering the arthouse end and Deaf Crocodile the genre end, so there's no particularly compelling reason for Indicator to enter that market as well.

Orbit DVD will be having a sale on US Indicator titles March 15-17:
This is for selected Indicator US titles ONLY, and this will not include their full catalog.

Most of the sale will be 3 for $33, a huge savings of around 50%. I was also to be able to negotiate keeping our free shipping as an option.

There will also be other select titles on sale, but not at this deep of a discount. This includes my favorite release of last year, which is a box set.

Moodysson was Arrow. I’m hoping it’s the Ormond family box, which I still have not gotten around to buying.

Okay, I see how you're reading it. I read the last sentence as an amendment to the first, that other titles would be on sale besides Indicator. Reading the first line again, it's awkwardly worded - depending on what you emphasize "Indicator U.S. titles only - not full catalogue... here's the breakdown... there will also be other titles from other companies with milder discounts compared to the select Indicator titles, including a box set I love" or "Indicator titles only during the sale... here's the breakdown for some of them... there will also be other Indicator titles not as heavily discounted, including a box set I love"

This was an announcement from their update email, and the section it comes from was specifically labeled “INDICATOR US SALE MARCH 15 - 17TH”. I should maybe have included that because without it, it indeed does look like a general sale. Sorry for the confusion.

For all who participated in this group buy, I just got notification that it finally shipped, so hopefully you'll all have your orders in just a few more weeks now
