I loved the first act of Sparrow. It's everything Mr Sausage glows about. Unfortunately, it didn't hold its momentum for me - The rest is fine, but that episodic structure reveals a hollowness when the 'plot' kicks in that kinda soils the party. Still a recommendable movie overall.

I clearly don't get what others do from Johnnie To. Of the seven I've seen, only Throw Down and Romancing in Thin Air were particularly remarkable for me
