I know this was with Artisan back in the day, does anyone know who Criterion licensed it from?

I think it's with Lionsgate. I say think since the Imprint blu is licensed from them but there could be a different distributor in the U.S.

Features aren't as pathetic as the last Van Sant Criterion, but going by how ruined and unplayable the dvd of this was when I rented it years ago, this is a really popular title with a certain crowd and regardless it would be nice to have something about James Fogle.

Last one was Eve's Bayou from 2022, and there's been a handful of titles overall.

Theatrically it was Lionsgate, but I guess its ownership changed some time ago

Much like the "Love Conquers All" version of Brazil, the deleted scenes on this really show how editing can make all the difference between a great film and a lousy one. Woof.
