Though I don't know if it was Joan Baez expecting something from Dylan or was it the other way around. In any case, I felt like the film was intended for younger audiences, I prefer the documentary version (No direction home). A Real Pain was very subtle. A lot of the recent dramas I've watched remind me of the actual people I met at some point in my life, protagonists seem more realistic than usual.
