Someone on Reddit just heard from Criterion and the corrected versions of The Wiz will be shipping shortly. (AND they added the original theatrical 6-track soundtrack!) Their estimated ship date is late September to early October.
If you ordered directly from Criterion, they will ship you the disc automatically at no charge.
Criterion also updated their product page:
New 4K digital restoration, approved by producer Rob Cohen, with Dolby Atmos soundtrack and alternate original theatrical 70 mm 6-track DTS-HD Master Audio soundtrack
