It isn't its own streaming service (so please move if this is in the wrong place), but indie distributor Utopia is effectively streaming through Patreon with their new "Utopia Screening Room." In addition to library titles, it will feature "live online screening events and Q&As during the theatrical window for all upcoming releases."
This is very interesting. With the mention of in-person perks, this seems intended to supplement theatrical distribution. Utopia is hardly big enough for major nationwide rollouts, so I suppose this bridges the gap by reaching audiences who don't live near theaters that carry their films?
