It does states "Kubrick’s thirteen features", but I only count 12.

It's confusing but the first line in the content description seems to explain where it is. Should be everything, plus the monos, plus new blus. All you need in one box.

These slots have further die cuts that go all the way to the disc's spindle so they're far easier to remove and less harsh on the discs than the Pasolini or Varda box.

the big pull here extras wise is new commentaries on 2001 and The Shining by Michael Benson and Lee Unkrich, respectively. I haven't read either book that these gentlemen have written, but knowing Unkrich from Pixar I trust that these will be fantastic tracks

Won’t this set be shipped/displayed laying down ie the discs near the end will be weighted by all the pages that came before, thus causing the discs to get lodged within the slot though? Pasolini discs were ruined because the discs were stuck in the slots from being packed into the set, I don’t see how this will mitigate that at all
For those who know more of the color timing situations between the different releases, do these look much different from whatever other 4Ks were there, including for 2001, Full Metal Jacket, The Shining, Clockwork Orange, Spartacus? I'd be curious what treatment Criterion would give, or if they'd defer to Warner's grading choices, and if they'd give a more filmic appearance based on consulting with any release prints or how the film would have look originally (as they would have done with Barry Lyndon's and Eyes Wide Shut's releases).
Can anyone help me out and tell me which version of The Shining I own? It's the US Blu-ray.

I only ask because when I look at the comparison page, I could swear all of those scenes are in this version. Additionally, does either version in this set contain the fabled hospital scene that was placed near the end of the film after their escape and Jack's death?
I'd hate to think Spartacus just got stripped off all those extras, or that movies like Lolita, Clockwork Orange, and Full Metal Jacket aren't getting the scholarly supplements they deserve.
I expect the rest of the pages will populate with the rest of the October releases (which I would not be surpised to see include Lolita and The Shining standalones).
I think one of the biggest new special feature is the inclusion of short films by John Whitney. I know many have been restored by the Academy Film Archive and his estate in 4K.
EDIT: And Graphic Films! Have those ever been available? If they include the experiential 70mm films, it would be a major coop.

The cover shows the UK BBFC certificate but the run time is for the longer US cut. Neither cut has the hospital sequence integrated. The shorter international version was never included with the US cut until now and vice versa. If you wanted both cuts, you had to buy both the European and US discs.

Yeah, I saw that it was European after I posted. Still the exact same cover. Thanks for your response. I am very curious what he cut out because I find nothing superfluous in the 144 minute cut.
As for the hospital scene, I know Kubrick was known for destroying any material that didn't make it into the final cut, so can we assume the hospital scene is lost to time?
If Isle of Dogs and the other previously unreleased Andersons are anything to go by, Lolita should get a separate release in October, too. I'm glad I'm not a fan of EWS or I'd have felt a bit annoyed at this set coming less than a year after that film already getting a stellar release.

Hilariously, there was, in fact, an authorized Parker Brothers 2001 tie-in game called Universe, based on a game Bowman and Poole are both shown playing in cut scenes from the film.
