Interesting that Nadja is a Transmission release now. Most people thought it would be from Radiance with the NAD clue and it got pushed back to 2027. That leaves two clues for this year unaccounted for. RC2 is obviously Radical Japan 2 but I forgot the other one.

Aren’t we still waiting on MH from last year?

"MV" is forthcoming, and yes "MH" I don't believe was ever revealed

Nadja switching to Transmission may be a result of the Radiance schedule being full

Transmission's mission focuses on "left-of-the-dial cult classics," and that's a pretty spot-on description of Nadja. Also, Transmission is curated by Paul Martinovich, right? Not Fran. So it's not a case of shunting things off to a sub label. It's its own thing.

But also, Arbelos worked on the restoration so why aren't they the Radiance-adjacent label putting it out?

Is Arbelos UK still a going concern? Have they put anything out through Radiance other than Life is Cheap… but Toilet Paper is Expensive?

No but that's true of nearly every Radiance partner label. Actually, Life Is Cheap isn't even credited to Arbelos on Radiance's website--it's credited directly to Radiance

If you mean the Radiance Films text above the title, listings for all hosted labels along with Transmission are displayed that way. Though I feel like that wasn’t always the case?

There's a catalog number of ARB001BDLE in the listing. I can't find any trace of an ARB002.

For that matter, I think the last US Arbelos disc release was The Bloody Lady in April 2025. But they do have Nadja featured on their site as a theatrical release.

Apparently it was planned to be a Radiance title (so relevant clues still apply to it) but was then moved to Transmission for reasons not yet explained.

RJ2 and MV are unaccounted for, as are NEA, IMP, and JNB but they have been delayed til 2027 now

Is Nadja definitely delayed to 2027 then? It actually just says "moved..." in Fran's recent teaser list update, so that could be referring to it moving to Transmission rather than being pushed to 2027, so could still come out before the end of the year. By comparison he mentions IMP, NEA and JNB are specifically "moved to 2027".

No idea what the significance of it moving to Transmission is. Perhaps Radiance already had a lot on their plate and it fits Transmission's remit, or Transmission had a gap in schedule or delay on another title and they just moved this across (the difference will likely just be in packaging). Anyway, be interesting to see what other titles we'll see from Transmission going forward, as this opens things up a bit further.

Ah, okay. There are traces of it being an Arbelos release (the logo on the spine, the letters in the catalog listing, as Matt mentioned) but the actual name "Arbelos" is strangely missing from Radiance's website. If you click on "Shop" to see all partner labels, you can see Raro, Chasm, Fun City, Mawu, Altered Innocence (who don't even have a release!), CIP, and Transmission, but not Arbelos

Grasshopper was distributing it earlier in the year and its still on their website. It's also on the Arbelos website. Are the 2 labels connected?

I don't think we can assume it has been delayed until 2027 now. Nothing been said one way or the other.
