VinSyn confirmed that FiM encoded the 4K UHD disc of MANHUNTER.
Also, people in the CIN thread on the other site—two of whom I have quoted—said to not rule out SCARECROW yet despite the NY bit.

And even if the CIN Black Friday title isn't SCARECROW, we do now know it is at least with a label.

Was waffling on Manhunter and saw that the Shop app has a $10 off promo for VS... finally had to pull the trigger. And yes, it's possible to combine it with rewards/SMS coupons as it's not inherently a VS discount.

It’s crazy to me that Criterion would miss out on both Puzzle of a Downfall Child (which Kino really did an exceptional job with) and this film. Maybe they’ll get the freshly restored Reunion

I could see Criterion going for PUZZLE 4K if they were open to UHD-only licenses like Arrow, Radiance, and VinSyn (and they could always sneak a BD in), but Criterion don't really do that save for sets.beamish14 wrote: Thu Nov 05, 2026 3:53 pmMovieBuff647 wrote: Thu Nov 05, 2026 3:08 pm VinSyn confirmed that FiM encoded the 4K UHD disc of MANHUNTER.

Also, REUNION is a StudioCanal title and yeah, I'd definitely lean Criterion over Kino. https://www.blu-ray.com/news/?id=38092

Schatzberg gets his ton up in June next year, maybe Criterion are waiting on the occasion to release a collection of his films.

Interesting, the one time I attempted to combine the two, it wouldn't allow me.mfunk9786 wrote: Thu Nov 05, 2026 3:33 pm Was waffling on Manhunter and saw that the Shop app has a $10 off promo for VS... finally had to pull the trigger.
