Well, that pic certainly lends credence to David Poland's theory. Adrian Brody looks every bit the young Peter Bogdanovich. I hope he's right. That's a film I'd like to see.

Thanks for the info, at first when I read the topic I was very discouraged by the focus on ragging on Anderson. I mean, I'm all for being able to air your angries online, it just throws you off when you click for information on a specific film.

I'm really excited about this, I have a huge soft spot for movies set in India. Like French pop music, even if it's mediocre I'll find something to enjoy about it.

The fact that this is pretty much pre-determined criterion makes me so excited for it. I hope it lives up to Anderson's work so far.

According to IMDb, its distributor is Fox Searchlight. I know (think) that Fox has licensed to Criterion in the past, but has the Fox Searchlight banner?

I always assumed it was some sort of stipulation in Anderson's contract, considering that his last two films were only available from Criterion.
